By using RentalApplicationMaker (operated by RentalApplicationMaker (operated by [Company legal name], UAE)) you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Not a law firm; templates, not legal advice

RentalApplicationMaker is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. We provide rental application templates and tools. State notes summarize statutes we checked on official sources and may not reflect later changes or local rules. Consult a licensed attorney in your state for advice about your situation.

2. Not a consumer reporting agency

We do not run credit, criminal, eviction or identity checks, and we do not furnish consumer reports. If you screen applicants, use a consumer reporting agency and follow the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including adverse action notices.

3. Landlord responsibilities

  • You are responsible for your application questions, criteria, fees and decisions, and for complying with fair housing laws.
  • Our Fair Housing check is a helpful flag, not a guarantee that your form is lawful.
  • Use the same form and criteria for every applicant, and use applications only to evaluate applicants for your rental.
  • Store paper applications securely and dispose of them safely.

4. Online application links (Pro)

You may share links only for real rentals you own or manage. Do not use them to collect information for any other purpose, and do not ask applicants to type Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers into the form. Applications are deleted automatically when the retention period you chose ends; download anything you must keep before then. We may close links that are used for spam, phishing or other misuse.

5. Pro subscriptions

Landlord Pro is billed in advance monthly or yearly and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period. First-time subscribers can request a full refund within 14 days. Prices are in US dollars and may change with 30 days' notice. Payments are processed by Stripe. After checkout you receive a licence key that unlocks Pro on your devices; keep it private. Features marked "coming soon" are not part of what you pay for today.

6. No warranty; limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
